Meet the founder

Hello, I am Kári

I am the founder of LOVE Synthesizers, a new startup company that is in the process of designing and building its first electronic musical instrument. I am a computer scientist with a passion for creating digital tools to empower musical expression. For two decades I have been teaching programming, graphics, software engineering, games, and AI at the RU (Reykjavík University) department of computer science, while also working in software development. In my spare time I have been programming and building electronic musical instruments, input devices, and other digital aids for musical creativity since first learning how to program.
